Kevin’s path to architecture emerged from gaming. The ability to create levels in a Sonic video game gave him a taste of place-making which guided his educational pursuits to an architectural degree from Cal Poly. His professional practice is motivated by the understanding that building beautiful things requires discipline and hard work. He relishes the challenge of working within the real parameters of materials, code requirements, and users’ needs to create inspired structures, applying technical mastery to the art of architecture. Outside of work, Kevin enjoys listening to progressive house music and admires the ability of the musicians to capture raw beauty in their sounds. A man of deep faith, he supports the community and mentors children as a 4th and 5th-grade Sunday School teacher.
