Sam Harper

Sam’s passion for architecture emerged as a child. Whether drawing, painting, or building something with his hands, he found joy in the process of making. From Delta Community College to receiving an architectural degree from Cal Poly to his work with WMB, he continues to relish creating. He finds great fulfillment in the hard work and collaboration of the process, taking a project from concept to reality. As an architect, Sam deems it a privilege to positively impact individuals, communities, and the environment, both in his work and as a board member of the Hutchins Street Square Foundation and Children’s Home Foundation. In his spare time, he uses his home as a creative experiment. Lessons learned about building systems and small-scale details inform the design process of his commercial projects. Sam is a team player clients rely on to dig into project challenges and present solutions that elevate the design.
